What is flight compensation?

In 2005, the European Union brought into force regulation which requires airlines to compensate you if your flight is cancelled, over booked, you are denied boarding, or even if your flight does not take off at all (unless the delay was caused by 'extraordinary circumstances'). This applies to flights that depart from the EU (including Switzerland, Iceland and Norway) or arrive on an EU-based airline.

If you were delayed for more than 3 hours, you could be entitled to up to €600 in compensation. You can claim on flights you have taken in the past 6 years. Our flight compensation service operates on a no win, no fee basis.

Our team can take the guess work out of the paperwork. We will challenge airline’s reasons for non-payment. Etico Delay is part of the Etico Group, which includes Etico PPI and Etico PBA, we have experience of successfully claiming millions of pounds on behalf of our clients.
